BEST Product Launch Strategy of 2018 -Amazon FBA

n today’s training, I’m giving you my exact product launch strategy. I’m going to break down for you what I do, how I do it, the timing, and so much more. This strategy is going to make all the difference in your business and help you have your most successful launch yet.

   It Starts with Research
Let’s begin by talking about product research and how we got to the product launch phase. There’s a common theory out there about product research. I hear a lot that people believe that the first week your listing becomes live, Amazon ranks you higher than you would normally rank. I don’t subscribe to that belief, but one thing I do want to stress is the importance of doing things slowly and taking the right steps to launch your product. If not, you may end up spending a few hundred dollars and not even generate sales.

Remember, it takes a long time to find products; and, it can take a long time to get the supplier onboard. It can be a stressful and nerve-racking process. I see far too many people get so excited to secure a product that they jump right into the launch phase without the careful planning that’s necessary to have a successful launch.

So, let’s break down the steps.

   Step 1: Place Your Supply Order
Give yourself ample time here between placing the order and when you actually launch your product. You want to have a couple weeks here to make sure it’s manufactured, shipped, and distributed by Amazon.

   Step 2: Make Sure Your Listing is Flawless
While your order is being prepared, take this time to ensure your listing is absolutely flawless. Look at things like the picture, picture size, number of pictures, your listing copy, your keywords — look at everything. My best advice is to create your listing, then let it sit and marinade for a few days. Doing so will help you not only avoid listing suppressions, but it will also help you create the best possible listing. When you go back to it after a few days, you’ll be able to strengthen the quality of the listing.

   Step 3: Get Verified Reviews
One of the biggest factors when it comes to the success of your listing is reviews. Think about it — before most people buy something or try a new restaurant, they look at the reviews online. So, it makes sense that one of your first few steps should be to get reviews. After the first 24 hours, aim to get 3-5 of verified reviews within 48-hours. You can do this using my own group or other similar Amazon seller groups. Research different tags to find others who are willing to help you out.

   Step 4: Giveaway Products
In those same groups, give a few of your products away within the first 48 hours. Personally, I think these groups are better than many of the third-party options out there. It’s more of a community — you help them out, they help you out. With these strategies, after the first 48 hours you should have anywhere from 7-10 verified and unverified reviews. Be sure to only advertise your giveaway for about a week.

   Step 5: Start Advertising Via PPC
Right around the same time as you start your giveaways, you can start your PPC strategy as well. Start two campaigns, automatic and manual. Like the giveaway, you should only run your PPC strategy for about a week. I always suggest $10-$25, dollar campaigns over a 4-day period (depending on how competitive the product and your budget). After that 4-day period, analyze your keywords and run new ads with your best performers. Be sure to keep an eye on your bids as well so you don’t go into a market where the competition is too high.
